QR Codes. Hmmmm. Blowing up much? I have seen these things everywhere in the past couple months and I only see them getting more popular. The second photo is a graph of the different uses of a QR and it is pretty clear that most of the users are doing so to get a coupon or get some sort of discount. Trend? I think not. You have to look at what is going to move people….$$$$.
So then my second point. QR’s can be used for pretty much everything advertising or identification oriented. My idea: use a QR as a name tag and have people scan it and have it send them to my about.me and let them add me on all my social networking sites. I think that is a pretty useful tool.
